Font catalog
Available fonts, previews and font declarations in GS Loom.
Available font catalog
The list below comes from the same API catalog managed in Admin → Fonts. It shows active fonts, their technical names and their standard availability in hosting plans. Catalog changes appear when you reopen the page. Search filters font names without changing any template configuration.
Each card automatically displays its name and sample text in that typeface. Fonts load as you scroll through the catalog, without clicking an extra button. Google fonts require a connection to Google Fonts; fonts provided by GrowSite use their assigned stylesheet. System fonts depend on the visitor’s device. When a typeface does not contain a particular character, the browser may display that character using a fallback font.
Declaring fonts in GS Loom
Use a font_picker field in the theme, section or block settings schema. Its default must match the technical value in the catalog, rather than an arbitrary display label. Each card below includes a field definition you can copy. Change its id when you need separate settings for body text and headings.
Fonts included with a template
A font declared by a template is available on sites using that template even when it normally belongs to a higher hosting plan. Put the declaration in the template source: customer content cannot grant access to additional fonts. Other fonts retain their hosting-plan restrictions. Disabled and deleted catalog entries are not made available through this exception.
The plan shown on each card describes standard availability. It does not block a template that correctly declares that font. After changing the schema, test the font selector, document saving and the rendered website on mobile devices. Check the actual languages used by the website, including accented characters, rather than relying only on the English sample text.
